Let Axis New England solve your next machine vision application. We carry vision solutions from Dalsa IPD as well as Omron. Our engineers are factory trained to help you find the best solution for even the most challenging applications. Our vision lab allows us to evaluate product samples and choose the right vision appliance to fit your needs.
DALSA IPD is a company with over 25 years of experience in the development of machine vision solutions for a wide range industrial applications. Unlike all other vision companies, DALSA manufactures everything from the semi-conductor CCD and CMOS chips, to the cameras, to the machine vision appliances themselves. Whether you are new to machine vision, or are an experienced integrator, DALSA IPD offers vision software options to suite your needs. Their wide selection of vision appliances allow you to choose the solution that is the most cost effective for your application, whether it be a single analog camera, or a Gigabit Ethernet vision network with 6+ cameras.
DALSA’s Genie GigE digital cameras combine reliable Gigabit Ethernet communications technology with DALSA Trigger to Image Reliability framework to create a powerful and cost-effective machine vision solution. Available resolutions range from VGA up to 1600×1200 in color and monochrome, as well as high speed (300fps) versions. Global Shuttering Technology shutters all the pixels on the CCD or CMOS chip simultaneously, preventing rolling shutter or motion blur that you typically see in high-speed motion applications.
Unfamiliar with machine vision? Program your application with the easy to use iNspect software. Have a more complex application? Use Sherlock’s extensive, powerful tool offering to create a highly capable vision solution.
The VA15/2x/3x series of DALSA IPD machine vision appliances allow you to solve applications with single or dual analog cameras. These compact appliances run Windows XP embedded on Flash memory, and come pre-installed with iNspect or Sherlock. Serial, USB, and 10/100 Ethernet connections are available.
The VA4x/5x/6x series of DALSA IPD machine vision appliances allow you to solve more complex applications, applications that require high speed processing, or applications that require extremely high resolution. Also, the VA5x vision appliance can be used to perform high speed line scanning applications. Through the advent of Gigabit Ethernet, DALSA now offers machine vision solutions that allow you to position the cameras up to 100m away from the vision appliances. You can even use any standard Ethernet switch to control up to 8 cameras on a single network. The VA4x/5x/6x vision appliances run Windows XP embedded 40GB hard drives, and come pre-installed with iNspect or Sherlock. Serial, USB, and 10/100/1000 Ethernet connections are available.
Omron’s machine vision sensors provide a comprehensive, cost-effective machine vision inspection solution for your toughest applications. The keypad or touchscreen based interface makes programming their vision systems simple, and the small camera size is ideal for machines where space is limited. Whether you are looking to verify OCR/OCV text, inspect low tolerance dimensions, or need to inspect a large number of parts in a short amount of time, Axis New England can help you select the right vision solution for your application.
